Privacy policy

OLIENA is an Android application for aphasic patients that displays videos of a person pronouncing words or short sentences. Each video is played in a loop until the patient proceeds to the next word. 

OLIENA has interfaces for patients and administrators (caregivers, speech therapists, physicians, etc.).

OLIENA is free and has no advertising.

OLIENA does not collect or share personal information.



The following permissions are required to use the app:


1. GENERAL
android.permission.INTERNET for the download of the video collections.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE to ensure that the download only takes place according to the user's specifications (only Wifi, Mobile, Roaming).

2. Only for Android < Android Q:
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE to store the downloaded videos and grant access to them. 

DATA STORAGE
Truncated IP addresses are stored at our provider's facility.
