Privacy policy

Ear2Memory is an audio player designed primarily for language learning. 

Ear2Memory does not collect or share personal information and does not access the Internet.



The following permissions are required to use the app:


1. ESSENTIAL

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission - allows access to audio files.

WAKE_LOCK permissions - allows the app to play audio files in the background and when the screen is turned off.


2. OPTIONAL (restricted functionality)

RECORD_AUDIO authorisation - to check their pronunciation, users can record their voice. No recording takes place in the background. The recording is cached and overwritten with each new recording. 

When backup/restore or import "snippets" is called up for the first time, permission is requested to access file directories specified by the user.


DATA STORAGE
Truncated IP addresses are stored at our provider's facility.
